Our outstanding facilities
Technology and Innovation Centre
We are a founding partner in the Manufacturing Technology Centre based at Ansty in Coventry, which has over 50 member companies and offers a unique facility to test novel engineering concepts and processes.
Centre for Formulation Engineering
Our innovative Centre for Formulation Engineering collaborates with businesses on research into micro-structured materials. The centre’s outstanding track record for industrial collaboration was recognised with a Queen’s Anniversary prize in 2011, the highest possible award for an educational institution in the UK.
High Temperature Research Centre
Announced on 8th October 2012, the University of Birmingham and Rolls-Royce, the global power systems company, will be establishing a new £60m High Temperature Research Centre. The Centre will help develop future generations of aero engines, making greener, more efficient air travel possible
